Last year on the 24th of November, which was our American Thanksgiving, Cleo and Disco’s puppies came into the world. All eleven of them! Walter and I had taken shifts with Cleo, with Walter going to his parents Thanksgiving celebrations then I going to a friends, as we didn’t want to miss the birth. Cleo, our instinctual Barbet, did an amazing job. From the first puppy born to the last, Cleo was a trooper. We helped with some placentas, but for the most part Cleo did everything.
A year has passed and we are thankful for our Barbet, their offspring, and the friends they’ve brought into our lives. Happy Birthday Cleo’s “C” babies!
